To ask what someone is doing, take the sentences you’ve already learned, and replace the verb with the word ‘aha’:
Kei te aha koe? – What are you doing?
Kei te tuhituhi ahau. – I’m writing.
Kei te aha ia? – What’s he doing?
Kei te pānui ia. – He’s reading
